Bulgarian judoka Mark Hristov clinched the gold medal at the European Open in Prague in 2022. He bagged a bronze medal at the European Championships in 2022 in Sofia. He captured a silver medal at the Cadet World Championships in 2017 in Santiago de Chile. He captured the gold medal at the European Cup U21 Sarajevo in 2019. He took the bronze medal at the Grand Prix in Zagreb in 2021. In 2022 he captured the European U23 title in Sarajevo. He claimed a bronze medal at the Grand Slam in Tel Aviv.
