British judoka Anya Hassan is multiple British medallist for her age group and also won Newcastle rising star for her judo achievement at such a young age. She competed at the Danish open in February 2020 and placed 5th, In 2017 she claimed silver at the Pre Cadet level National Championships. In September 2019 Anya claimed Silver at the Pre Cadet level Commonwealth Judo Championships. She won the English Open in London in 2024. Seized gold at the Northern Ireland Open Derry in 2024.
