Tajik judoka Madina Qurbonzoda made her debut at Grand Prix level at the GP Dushanbe in 2023. From competitions in Central Asia she has won two cars and a horse at the age of 15. She won the first car by fighting boys at a competition in Uzbekistan and she gave it to her dad as a gift. Her brother also competed at the GP Dushanbe 2023. She grew up in a small town outside the capital but now she is living in Dushanbe at a new club.
