Georgian judoka Luka Maisuradze captured the world title in 2023 in Doha in the final against Bekauri. He took world bronze in Tokyo in 2019 and 2022. He claimed the European U23 title in 2020 in Porec. He won bronze at the European Games in Minsk in 2019. He captured bronze at the 2018 Junior World Championships. Luka took gold at the Grand Prix in Antalya. He took bronze at the Europeans in Prague. He took bronze in the Paris Grand Slam in 2022 and 2023. Luka secured a silver medal at Grand Slam Tbilisi in 2023. He captured a silver medal at the IJF Masters in 2023 in Budapest.
